About Timo Frazier

His photographic career began in 2000 in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, where he studied photography and booked wedding clients. By 2005 he was learning from respected artists including Phlearn creator Aaron Nace, while making portraits and marketing materials for a public relations firm in Nashville, Tennessee.

He relocated to Tokyo and launched FANTiM Fotography in 2006. Working alongside celebrity and fashion photographer Masatoshi Yamashiro brought further experience before a move to Europe in 2016 to study commercial, fashion and portrait photography at Spéos Photographic Institute in Paris.

In Europe, Timo also studied individually with Dan Hecho and Sean Archer, incorporating their approaches into his own photographic practice. That international experience continues to shape his work with private clients, models, fashion designers, makeup artists and other creatives.

His work has appeared in international publications and in private and international collections across North America and Japan, including Fotki, headquartered in Canada, and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center.
